1. Using Bennies

These Terms apply when you use the Bennies card game and its online services. By creating a Bennies account, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not create or use an online Bennies account.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the email address and profile information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not impersonate another person or use a username or display name intended to deceive, threaten, harass or offend others.

3. Player conduct

When using online features, you must not:

• harass, threaten or abuse another player;
• use hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit or otherwise seriously inappropriate profile content;
• attempt to cheat by manipulating the service or bypassing game rules;
• probe, interfere with or attempt to gain unauthorised access to another player's account, cards, game state or data;
• use automated tools to abuse the service;
• use Bennies for unlawful activity.

Players can report and block other players. The developer may investigate reports and may restrict or remove accounts where reasonably necessary to protect players or the service.

4. Game records and statistics

Bennies may store multiplayer game state and statistics to operate games and provide historical results. If another player later deletes their account, your legitimate completed-game statistics may remain, but the deleted player's identity will be anonymised.

5. Account deletion

You can delete your Bennies account in the app or through the external deletion page. Deletion is permanent. Active online games, social connections and account-specific cloud data may no longer be recoverable after deletion.

6. Availability and changes

Bennies may be updated, changed, suspended or discontinued. Online services may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, faults, platform changes or circumstances outside the developer's reasonable control.

7. Intellectual property

Bennies, its original software, interface and original game assets are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the app for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership of the app or its content to you.

8. No real-money gambling

Bennies is provided as a card game for entertainment. It does not provide real-money gambling, wagering or cash prizes.

9. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights. To the extent permitted by law, Bennies is provided without a guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Privacy

Use of personal information is explained in the Bennies Privacy Policy, available from Help & Settings in the app.

11. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated when the app, online services or applicable requirements change. Continued use after an update may require acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without removing any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you in the country where you live.
