Privacy Policy

Effective date: 10 September 2026

1. About Bennies

Bennies is a card game that can be played locally against the Computer and, if you choose to create an account, online with other Bennies players. This policy explains how information is handled when you use Bennies.

The developer identified on the Apple App Store or Google Play listing for Bennies is responsible for the app. Privacy enquiries can be sent using the developer contact details shown on the relevant store listing.

2. Information Bennies handles

If you use Bennies without creating an online account, game settings, local game saves and some statistics may be stored on your device.

If you create an online account, Bennies processes:

The authentication and database provider may also process technical information such as IP addresses, browser/device information and server/security logs as needed to provide and secure the service.

3. Why this information is used

Information is used to:

4. Service providers and sharing

Bennies uses Supabase to provide authentication, database and server-side functionality. Information is shared with that provider only as needed to operate those functions.

Bennies does not include advertising SDKs and does not sell personal information. Bennies does not use personal information for cross-app advertising or tracking.

5. Retention and deletion

Account and profile information is kept while your Bennies account exists, unless a longer period is required for security, legal or dispute purposes.

You can permanently delete your account inside Bennies from Help & Settings → Account → Delete Bennies Account. An external account-deletion route is also provided on the Bennies website.

Deleting your account removes your authentication account, email address, profile, friendships, requests, invitations, active multiplayer game state and your own cloud Computer/Challenge statistics.

A completed multiplayer result may remain in another player's historical statistics so that their legitimate game history is not rewritten. In that case, your Bennies identity is removed from that historical result and it is presented as a deleted/anonymous player rather than under your former username or display name.

6. Reports and blocks

Bennies allows players to report or block other players. These records are used only to operate safety and moderation features. They are not public. Account deletion removes safety records that remain linked to the deleted profile, subject to any retention that may be required by law.

7. Security

Bennies uses access controls, database row-level security, authenticated server-side operations and encrypted network connections provided by the underlying platforms and service provider. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

You can choose not to create a Bennies account and continue to use offline parts of the app. You can block players, delete your account and request deletion of associated personal data.

Depending on where you live, you may also have legal rights relating to access, correction, restriction, objection, portability or complaints to a data-protection authority. Use the developer contact details on the Bennies store listing if you need to exercise a privacy right that is not available directly in the app.

9. Children

Bennies does not intentionally ask users to provide sensitive information about children. Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately should use the developer contact details on the store listing.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when Bennies changes or when legal or store requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
